As part of the EuropeanFruits program activities, an educational study trip for three guests from the Czech Republic to Greece was organized from November 16 to 20, 2025, with the participation of journalists and content creators.
The program included visits to Naoussa, offering participants the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the production of European fruits and the processes followed throughout all stages of the supply chain, from “ farm to fork ”
During the visits to the faciliti es and orchards of the program ’ s beneficiary, ASEPOP Naoussa, participants were introduced to the European Union ’ s quality systems, as well as to the processes of production, sorting, and packaging of the products.
At the same time, an interactive activity took place in Thessaloniki with the participation of a nutritionist and a chef, aiming to inform guests about how fresh fruits can be incorporated into a balanced daily diet. The study trip was a meaningful outreach activity, enhancing direct experience a nd understanding of the quality, safety, and nutritional value of European fruits, while contributing to the dissemination of the program ’ s messages to a wider audience.
