The European campaign entitled “Information and promotion measures for fresh fruits and vegetables in the EU internal market”, with the acronym “European Fruits”, promotes the value of fresh fruits and vegetables consumed as part of the daily diet in three European Union markets: Greece, the Czech Republic, and Poland. It is co-funded by the European Union with ASEPOP Naoussa (Agricultural Cooperative for the Processing and Marketing of Fruit and Vegetable Products of Naoussa) as the beneficiary. The campaign is launched in three target markets — Greece, Poland, and the Czech Republic — and focuses on promoting selected European fruits: peaches, nectarines, cherries, kiwis, and apricots.

The fundamental campaign objective is to encourage the public to incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables into their daily diet in a more meaningful way, within the framework of balanced dietary practices. In addition, the campaign aims to increase sales and exports of the promoted EU products, thus enhancing trade relations and demand in the target countries.
The campaign strategy combines information and promotion initiatives, with the use of digital media and communication tools, as well as direct association with the public and professionals of the sector. This includes, among others, online and social media presence, information content, participation in trade fairs, press events, tastings, and networking.
ASEPOP Naoussa is an agricultural cooperative with substantial experience in the production, standardization, packaging, and marketing of fresh fruits. Within the framework of the European Fruits initiative, ASEPOP contributes to raising awareness of the value of European fruits and enhancing a more informed and balanced dietary culture among the European public.
