The EuropeanFruits campaign returns to Prague after its successful presence in the Czech Republic during the first year of implementation to continue its information and promotion actions, emphasizing the importance of fresh European fruit and vegetables as part of a balanced and varied diet.
In the context of the second year of the campaign, a new press event will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026, at 17:30, at Chateau St. Havel, with the participation of journalists, food professionals, market representatives, opinion leaders and content creators from the Czech Republic.
The event is a continuation of the initiatives launched in 2025 and part of a broader communication plan of the EuropeanFruits campaign, implemented in Greece, Poland, and the Czech Republic, aiming to raise consumer awareness on European-produced fresh fruit and vegetables and their role in a modern and balanced diet.
EuropeanFruits is a three-year programme (2025–2028), co-funded by the European Union under EU’s promotion policy for agricultural products, with ASEPOP Naoussa as the beneficiary – a cooperative with vast experience in the production and distribution of high-quality fruit like peaches, nectarines, cherries, apricots, and kiwis.
The importance of regular fruit and vegetable consumption as part of a balanced diet is highlighted through the campaign, while the high standards of quality, safety, and production that characterize European agricultural products are also promoted. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to be informed about the initiatives of the second year of the campaign, to get to know the characteristics of European fruits, and to exchange views on the importance of incorporating fresh fruit and vegetables into their daily diet.
Dinner will be held after the event, offering guests the opportunity to discover and enjoy fresh high-quality European fruits such as peaches, kiwis, and nectarines. At the same time, it will foster conversation, exchange of views, and networking in a pleasant and welcoming environment. Through initiatives such as press events, educational trips, participation in trade fairs, tastings, and digital campaigns, the EuropeanFruits campaign continues to strengthen engagement with consumers and market professionals during the second year of implementation, helping to raise awareness and build trust in European fruits.
