An Evening Dedicated to Healthy Eating and Quality: the Europeanfruits Campaign in Warsaw

On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, an informative event dedicated to fresh European fruits took place in Warsaw, as part of the Europeanfruits campaign, which is co-financed by the European Union and implemented in Greece, Poland and the Czech Republic.

The event was hosted at Mykonos Greek Restaurant & Bar and marked the first physical activity of the campaign in Poland, creating a direct communication channel with journalists, opinion leaders and professionals from the agri-food sector.
During the event, the main pillars of the Europeanfruits campaign were presented, highlighting the value of fresh European fruits, the high quality and safety standards that characterize them, and the importance of including them in everyday diets as part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Particular interest was generated by the practical tips shared by the speakers. Klaudia Buczek, nutrition expert, presented simple and practical advice for maintaining a balanced diet, while Dr. Spyridon Mamalis, Professor of Marketing and President of ELGO–DIMITRA, highlighted the importance of quality and safety in fresh fruit production. At the same time, Athanasios Paschoulas, Marketing Project Manager of ASEPOP Naoussa, presented the programme beneficiary and its role in promoting high-quality European fruits.

 

The event concluded with a dinner, offering participants the opportunity to exchange views and enjoy fresh European kiwifruit in a friendly and professional atmosphere.

The Europeanfruits campaign continues its information and promotion activities in Poland, the Czech Republic and Greece, aiming to bring fresh European fruits closer to consumers’ everyday lives.
